Jakob Davidsen: seven gazes at the moon
Jakob Davidsen: seven gazes at the moon
Jakob Davidsen's new release, “seven gazes at the moon” are seven reflections of wonder on the ever mysterious moon. A moon that through all ages and in all cultures has given rise to questions about life and existence on earth. The moon is the first celestial body in the universe seen from earth, a celestial body that humanity has always been able to look up at and reflect itself in.
The music is in a personal no-man's land between the composed and the improvised, and it is with a crew drawn from the top of both the rhythmic and classical music scene —a group of musicians who fully understand and can realise Jakob Davidsen's ideas about music without borders.
